The Los Angeles County Arboretum!

Nestled in the San Gabriel Mountains, the LA County Arboretum is home to hundreds of various species of trees, shrubs, and plants. Liz and I spent our day previewing Asia, Australia, and Africa as we talked about which paths to take in life.
Our first look into the Arboretum--our guide throughout the whole day.

A bird's nest cottage that we found in Asia.

 In a field of bamboo.
Only in a garden would you find a pristine environment to capture photos of still birds.
Welcome to the orange groves which smelled of jasmine, oranges, tangerines, and kumquats.
Don't fall Liz!

This is breathtaking. Yes--it's real.

Goofing around -- "Gialinh Showdown" :)

The steps leading up to the waterfall.
Bon Voyage!
Liz's dream house.

Enough said, it was an amazing experience to graze through the gardens. At one point, we stumbled accross two older Asian ladies chatting away in a foreign language in the park. We looked at one another and said that it was us in the near future, but we'd have better style.

- Stay tuned for our next adventure to Jin Patisserie in Venice Beach. 'Til next Tuesday, Chris & Liz.
